Each of the sections and drills will give the officer the fundamentals, skills and knowledge of their firearm and how to properly put rounds on target while in a high stress environment. The different stances and how to utilize them in the field. Proper grip How to acquire a proper sight picture. (Red Dot and Iron Sights) Bilateral shooting techniques How to properly and safely clear malfunctions. Single hand and two handed techniques Reload techniques Have to vs Want to Firearm transition tactics Cover vs Concealment Threat De-escalations and Situational Awareness Training. How to break down and clean the rifles Officers will run through various drill that will consist of a Static Range and a Dynamic Range. Shooting while moving is covered in this course and each officer is expected to participate in these exercises. Required equipment for a successful course completion. View all available pistol courses Available Courses Anchor 1 Pistol Rifle / Carbine Medical POST Certified Courses Patrol Rifle 25-670 This course is designed to reinforce the fundamental rifle skills of each officer and build upon that foundation through progressive training. Students will learn and apply a variety of shooting stances tailored to different tactical scenarios. Throughout the course, officers will be trained in clearing rifle malfunctions, performing combat and tactical reloads, engaging targets using bi-lateral (both strong and support side) shooting techniques, as well as shooting while on the move and from positions of cover and concealment. Patrol Pistol 25-669 This advanced training course builds on the foundational pistol skills acquired during the academy and other prior training. It is designed to enhance officers’ ability to identify and neutralize threats effectively while maintaining safety and confidence under stress. Participants will engage in a series of dynamic drills that focus on improving decision-making, marksmanship, and overall proficiency with their duty pistol. Special emphasis is given to Gun handling, Marksmanship, and Adopting a Combat Mindset that’s needed to survive and win in an armed encounter with a violent adversary. Carbine Level 2 Carbine 2 is more intense, both physically and mentally challenging on the shooter and more fast-paced. Carbine 2 focuses on accuracy, speed and decision making. Carbine 2 each shooter will understand how to fire from cover/barricades, different firing positions and transition from primary to secondary firearm. Each shooter will need their AR/Carbine and their handgun.

Anchor 1 Pistol Rifle / Carbine Medical Advanced Tactics INTRO TO COMBAT EVAC $175.00 View Upcoming Courses Course Overview This course is designed to teach students the basics of how to respond to engagement scenarios, specifically those engagements that involve a wounded person. This course will cover topics including: -Basics of your Every Day Carry loadout or Duty Loadout -Rapid/surprise engagement response -How to execute a fighting withdrawal when wounded -EVAC’ing a wounded person from an engagement -Emergency hemorrhage control until help arrives. This course will teach the student to think critically about the types of engagements they may find themselves in when going about their daily life. It will demonstrate a set of scenarios that will simulate having to extract themselves and other from hostile situations, how to triage after neutralizing threats, and how the student can keep themselves our someone else stable until EMS arrives. There will be instruction on EDC best practices, and live-fire training provided under professional supervision. Upon completion of the course the student will receive a certificate of completion and a Little River Range and Training class chip. Required materials for successful course completion: A quality semiautomatic pistol chambered in .380, 9mm, 40S&W, 357Sig or 45acp **22LR are allowed for this course** Revolvers can be used in 38 special and 357 magnums. Due to the amount of shooting that will be done, we recommend a semiautomatic. Calibers outside the normal Everyday Carry will not be allowed FN 5.7 44 Mag .50 cal Quality made hip or concealment holster. No drop legs are allowed in the level 1 course. At least 3 magazines for double stack pistols or at least 4 magazines for single stack pistols. If you do not have enough magazines, contact us to arrange extra mags to be provided. Anchor 1 Pistol Rifle / Carbine Medical Advanced Tactics First Aid Training with American Heart Association CPR Certification View Upcoming Courses $150.00 Course Overview This course is the first course in the line of LRRATs medical training curriculum. Each student who takes this course will receive the most current tactics in life saving techniques. Upon the completion of this course, each student will be certified in American Heart Association CPR with the use of an Automated External Defibrillator. This course will teach the following information: 1. Basic Life Support Tactics 2. Stop the Bleed Certification 3. AHA CPR/AED Certification 4. M.A.R.C.H and Triage Tactics With the completion of this course, each student will have the prerequisites to attend the following courses provided by LRRAT. 1. Introduction to START Protocols and IFAK applications 2. Tactical Evacuation Casualty Care 3. Tactical Combat Casualty Care 4. Students learn how to stop threats effectively and safely in a controlled environment. This course helps agents to be prepared for threats while in unfamiliar environments. Pistol Combative This 7-hour course is a stand-alone program separate from Reactive Pistol 1 and 2 that emphasizes unconventional shooting positions. This course is open to all students however those with confident, disciplined pistol skills will benefit the most. Reactive Pistol 2 Reactive Pistol 2 picks up where RP 1 left off. RP 2 is more intensive, physically and mentally challenging for the student. Emphasis on speed, stress, exertion, and the combative mindset are prominently factored into the course. Ground Fighting & Close Quarter Pistol Operations Ground Fighting and Close Quarter Pistol Operations course is designed to put the shooter into unfavorable and unfamiliar defensive shooting position.
