First Aid Training With CPR/AED Certification
Cost: 225.00 With IFAK Â Â Â Â Â Â 140.00 Without a IFAK
Length: 6-8 Hours *Lunch is provided by LRRAT*
This course is designed to teach the student how to properly triage victims or injured persons and how to provide life saving techniques. In this course each student will learn how to use the equipment provided in the Individual First Aid Kit. This is a hands-on course and will cover the following items:
· Equipment provided in the IFAK and how to properly use them safely
· How to wear and remove Personal Protective Equipment safely
· How to triage the injured person
· Simple and compound fractures
· Difference between a bandage and a dressing
· How to treat eye wounds
· How to use compression bandages
· How to use Quick Clot and subsequent protocols.
· How to properly use a tourniquet and what to record when it is used
· How to treat a gunshot wound
· How to recognize and treat for shock
· How to treat a sucking chest wound
· How to recognize a heart attack and how to treat for it
· How to recognize a stroke and how to react
· American Red Cross CPR/AED Certification Course
At the completion of this course each student will be given an Individual First Aid for their personal use. Each student will also receive a Certificate of Training for Individual First Aid Kit and a Red Cross CPR/AED Certification. All materials are provided by Little River Range and Training, LLC
