This course is designed to teach the student how to use weapon mounted lights and hand-held lights in low light environments. LRRAT has developed a LED Target System that will tests the student target acquisition skills in a low light environment. The course is also designed for the student to use both their rifle and pistol. Each student will be taught how to use the lights in different scenarios on the range as well as in our Shoot Houses. Live fire will be utilized on the range and Sim rounds will be used in the Shoot Houses.

Students will need to bring the following equipment:

3 Chemical lights (Glow Sticks)

AR-15 (223/5.56, 300blk, 7.62x39)

Pistol 

150 rifle rounds

100 pistol rounds

UTM Training equipment will be provided by LRRAT

2 Rifle magazines

2 Pistol magazines

Rifle sling ** Two point is recommended but not required**

Quality range belt or chest rig

Weapon mounted lights or hand held flashlights

Knee and elbow pads are recommended

Folding chair

Water or Sports Drink
